Hurricane Practice - 05/07

Hurricanes,
Texas weather cannot figure out if it wants to be June or January! Hot…cold….hot….cold. We are coming up to June and I don’t get how we are in the low 60’s!
Yesterday’s practice was hard. Kids were brave but I’m sure the water felt like a giant bowl of ice water. Since it hasn’t gotten any warmer overnight and we don’t have a pool heater, we know the water will be cold…..again. Therefore, we are canceling ALL practices for tonight.
As much as the coaches want to have practice, it’s difficult to teach proper technique when a kid is shivering and cannot focus. We really want to see them enjoy the water!
Let’s cross our fingers, the sun remembers how to do its job over the weekend! See you Monday!
