Ready or Not, Here Comes Swim Season!

Our swim season is slowly approaching us so please check out the updates on our website.
Practice starts May 4th so if you haven't registered - DO IT! And tell a friend, classmate, teammate, or neighbor to register too! We need as many swimmers as possible to TAKE THE LEAGUE BY STORM.
You won't want to miss our SEASON KICK OFF PARTY AND NEW PARENT ORIENTATION on Sunday, May 3rd - there will be hotdogs, music, and fun for the whole family (lifeguards will be present). You will be meeting our coaches and our parent committee. Please RSVP here: Swim Meets and Events - Hunters Creek Hurricanes (swimtopia.com) so we know how many hot dogs to fire up on the grill. FYI…..please bring your own beverages!
We're partnering with SwimFreak and they will be at our kickoff party so you can check out the gear. They will also have swimsuits to try on and purchase. Please note your child cannot be wet if you want to try on a swimsuit. Our website outlines options for obtaining this year's team gear - check it out here: https://hunterscreek.swimtopia.com/shop. The swimsuit will be changing from prior season but you are NOT required to purchase a swimsuit to participate in swim team.
We are still looking for a volunteer to fulfill the Meet Entry/Scorer position. We currently have one parent who is responsible for the meet entry & scorer position, but we do need someone else to assist her and learn the responsibility so when she wraps up her time as a parent committee volunteer, we can have someone trained in that role. It's also great to have two parents for this responsibility. The great thing about volunteering as a parent committee member is that it fulfills your 3-time volunteer obligation!
