Ready or Not, Here Comes Swim Season!

Our swim season is slowly approaching us so please check out the updates on our website.
Practice starts May 5th so if you haven't registered yet - DO IT! And tell a friend, classmate, teammate, or neighbor to register too! We need as many swimmers as possible to TAKE THE LEAGUE BY STORM.
You won't want to miss our SEASON KICK OFF PARTY AND NEW PARENT ORIENTATION on Sunday, May 4th - there will be hotdogs, music, and fun for the whole family (lifeguards will be present). Please RSVP here: Swim Meets and Events - Hunters Creek Hurricanes (swimtopia.com) so we know how many hot dogs to fire up on the grill. FYI…..please bring your own beverages!
We're partnering with SwimFreak and they will be at our kick off party so you can check out the gear they have and also try on swimsuits. Please note your child cannot be wet if you want to try on a swimsuit. Our website outlines options for obtaining this year's team gear - check it out here: https://hunterscreek.swimtopia.com/shop. Also, the swimsuit will be the same design as last year. You are also NOT required to purchase a swimsuit to participate in swim team.
We are still looking for volunteers to fulfill the Meet Entry/Scorer & Meet Manager position. We currently have one parent who is responsible for the meet entry & scorer position, but we do need someone else to assist her and learn the responsibility so when she wraps up her time as a parent committee volunteer (it may be this year), we can have someone trained in that role. It's also great to have two parents for these two roles. For the Meet Manger position, you are only responsible for the two home meets to ensure everything is aligned and set up to race! The great thing about volunteering as a parent committee member is that it fulfills your 3-time volunteer obligation! Please reach out if you have any questions.
