Just as a reminder that registration is OPEN for the 2025 swim season! 😊

Just a note that your parent committee is still working out details for the swim season, for example, the “away” meets but we are gearing up and so excited about it! Below is the link where registration can be found:

The parent committee ask that you all spread the word on how awesome our swim team is and how much fun we all have as a community! Let friends, neighbors, classmates and anyone else know what a great time you all have had in the previous swim seasons and how awesome it would be for them to join us this summer! As a reminder, you DO NOT need to be a member of the HC Swim and Racquet Club to swim with us (although it would be cool if you were and if you decide to become part of the club you get pool access throughout the season and year) and you DO NOT need to live in the neighborhood! We will be posting signs throughout the neighborhood as a reminder that it’s that time of the year again!

We will be keeping the same practice schedule as last year. The practices would be Monday-Thursday evenings. In previous seasons, we have had a large group of 5-6 years old, so if anyone is available to help the coaches out that would be great (it’s a great opportunity for teenagers)! The more eyes the better!

As I’ve indicated in previous emails, we are looking for parent volunteers for the following positions:

Meet Entry/Scorer

Meet Manager

We currently have one parent who is responsible for the meet entry & scorer position, but we do need someone else to assist her and learn the responsibility so when she wraps up her time as a parent committee volunteer, we can have someone trained in that role. It's also great to have two parents for these two roles. For the meet manager, you will only be responsible for the two home meets we host and ensuring we have everything in line to host and coordinate with the other team! The great thing about volunteering as a parent committee member is that it fulfills your 3-time volunteer obligation! Yay!! Please reach out if you have any questions.

Mock meet & Team Photos – May 21^st

Swim meets – May 31^st vs. Promontory Point (Home), June 7^th vs. Churchill Estates (Away), June 14^th vs. Woods of Shavano (Home) and June 21^st vs. Inwood Hollow (Away)

Champs meet – June 28^th (We will be swimming in the afternoon session) More details to come
