Ready or Not, Here Comes Swim Season!
Good morning Hurricanes!
Our swim season is slowly approaching us so please check out the updates on our website.
Practice starts May 1st so if you haven't registered yet - DO IT! And tell a friend, classmate, teammate, or neighbor to register too! We need as many swimmers as possible to TAKE THE LEAGUE BY STORM.
You won't want to miss our SEASON KICK OFF AND NEW PARENT ORIENTATION on Sunday, April 28th - there will be hotdogs, music, and fun for the whole family (lifeguards will be present). Please RSVP here: Swim Meets and Events - Hunters Creek Hurricanes (swimtopia.com) so we know how many hot dogs to fire up on the grill.
We're partnering with SwimFreak and they will be at our kick off party so you can check out the gear they have and also try on swimsuits. We are still looking for a Meet Entry/Scorer. We currently have one parent who is responsible for the meet entry & scorer position, but we do need someone else to assist her and learn the responsibility so when she wraps up her time as a parent committee volunteer, we can have someone trained in that role. It's also great to have two parents for these two roles. The great thing about volunteering as a parent committee member is that it fulfills your 3-time volunteer obligation!
