Good Evening Hurricanes!

Here is a message from our parent volunteer coordinator Kaidan Nguyen:

Hi Swim Parents-

Thank you to everyone for making our first swim meet successful! As you all know, the swim meets cannot happen unless we have dedicated parents like yourself to help volunteer. With that said, there were a handful of parents who signed up to volunteer that did not show up and we had to scramble to find replacements. If you signed up for to volunteer for that meet, please be present and ready to go . If something comes up where you cannot make it, please communicate that to the volunteer coordinators Kaidan or Kentrell prior to the swim meet so we can plan accordingly. Thank you for your understanding. Since we have a smaller amount of swimmers this year than we had in the past, please consider volunteering more than the minimum requirement.

Also, please note that if you cannot meet the minimum volunteer hours or do not wish to volunteer, you can pay the $100 volunteer fee as described on the website. We keep track of all volunteer times and will communicate to parents who have not met the volunteer requirements at the end of the year to collect the volunteer fee. This fee goes directly to support our Hunters Creek Swim Team.

For our next meet vs Rogers Ranch this upcoming Saturday June 4th, we still need volunteers for:

Ready bench: 1^st shift (1 person)

2^nd shift (1 person)

Score table helper: 1^st shift (1 person)

2^nd shift (1 person)

Timers: 1^st shift (1 person)

2^nd shift (5 people)
